How to Earthling
Earthling is a multi-purpose Discord bot that can serve to manage, add entertainment, improve, and moderate your server. One of it’s many features that are a must-need in consistently active server are logs. Logs are incredibly important in servers, as they allow you to see what happens in your server when you’re not looking or away from the screen. This blog post will cover how to set up a channel specifically for our featured logs.
As your server continues to grow with members, it can be difficult to notice every little event that occurs. Earthling has seven logs that follows:
Whilst not all of the logs go under the moderation category, they can be set by the command, mentioned in the next part, either way. Each log can have it's own channel or set to the same channel.
Setting a logging channel only takes a few steps. First, make sure you have at least one channel for logs. You may also have multiple channels dedicated to logs if you preferred so. Next, use the /configuration logs command to set up the log you choose. Whilst typing the command, there will be two ‘fill in’ sections that feature the seven logs and what channel from your server you want to set the logs in.
This visual example will show how to set a moderation logs channel, however it is the same for any logging channel available. Once again, use the /configuration logs.
Tip: You must have the Manage Server permission to use this command.
That’s all you have to do to set up Earthling’s logging feature. If you have encountered issues, feel free to join our support server for direct support. We want our users to be able to use Earthling without any confusion or troubles.
