How to Earthling
As an owner or user, you can be curious about yours or someone else’s activity time in a server, whether in a voice or messaging channel. With Earthling’s Member Statistics, you can view daily, weekly and monthly messages and minutes in a voice channel. You can also see the message counts and speaking times of each member. This blog will go through the steps of setting this module up, including a visual example after each written instructions.
To set up this module, first begin by going to the Statistics tab on the dashboard command and press the “Setup / Update” button. From here, paste in the optional leaderboard Channel ID. Make sure to also fill in your timezone in UTC offset. Make sure to do this in a channel where commands can be done.
Tip: You must have the Manage Server permission to use this command.
After pressing the “Setup / Update” button, you will be met with the Statistic Setup page with two ’Fill-In.’ bars. The top one will say “Leaderboard Channel ID.” You can obtain a channel ID for this by right-clicking on a channel (Desktop) or holding down on the channel (Mobile) and selecting "Copy ID".
If you do not see this option, you must enable "Developer Mode" in your Discord Settings, it is located under "Advanced”.
To fill in the second bar, you need a UTC code. A UTC code is a type of timezone which allows Earthling to figure out the time for your server. You can get this by simply searching your timezone and "to UTC".
As seen via the screenshot, EST (Eastern Standard Time) is 5 hours behind UTC (Coordinated Universal Time). To put this into the bot's "timezone" section, simply put "-5". In your case, it may show as something like "UTC+02:00", you'd then put "+2" into the section.
Once you have completed all of these steps, Member Statistics will have been set up. If you have any issues or questions, feel free to join our support server for direct support.
