In this blog, we'll explore the top commands used on Earthling up to this point, how they have enriched Discord communities, and the impact they have had on us overall. Data displayed in this blog has been calculated by adding to the command uses count every time the command is used. Please note that the data is limited up to the time of writing this blog, on the 26th of July 2023.

Discord, the popular communication platform for gamers and communities, has seen an unprecedented rise in the usage of Discord bots, with Earthling standing out as a versatile and feature-rich choice. Its powerful commands have revolutionized the way users engage with each other, and its integration of various functionalities has added depth to Discord server experiences. From entertainment and moderation to organization and expression, Earthling's top commands have left a lasting impression on Discord communities, fostering a sense of camaraderie and engagement.

How many commands have been used?

Commands are the main purpose of Earthling, they allow for easy communication and utility actions within the click of a button. Because of this, hundreds of commands are ran every day completing your tasks. In total, 435,112 have been successfully completed since we started logging the total amount of times a command has been done. It is only this year, 2023, that we have fully been doing that.

The graph above displays the amount of commands completed this year so far, 48,048. By calculating the percentage, 9% of all commands done on Earthling have been from January to July 2023. Unfortunately, we did not track the total amount of commands done fully before this year, so the other number displayed the graph (387,064) is an the total commands done before 2023.

What are the top commands so far?

So far, 2023 has been a tough year for Earthling, we are failing to meet our goals set at the start of the year due to many boundaries presenting - including having to restart from 0 servers. However, this hasn't stopped users from continuing to use our bot and commands. Comparing them to 2022, we are able to see a very similar pattern in which commands are favourited.

We are able to see commands like "Fish", which has been used a total of 48,704 overall, has had a sharp increase, going from a total of around 42,000 to now nearly 49,000 - meaning the command has nearly been done 7,000 times this year alone! We are also able to see similar patterns by commands being the same places, except for the "Balance" and "Kiss" command, where "Kiss" has took big jump of a few thousand. We have included a pie chart below to show you as a percentage how much a command takes up the total 435,112.

The "Fish" command, as a percentage, accounts for 11.1% of all Earthlings commands ever done, followed by the "Rank" command with 7.7%. Looking at this pie chart gives you a clear understanding of how much some commands are used over others. However, you can still see that 72.8% of all commands ever done are command that don't feature in our top commands - that because so many people use Earthling for many different jobs and opportunities, we have so much to offer!
